Structures used by voluntary and community groups

From: BCM

You may decide that you wish your group to have a formal legal structure. This allows you to define who you help and what you do.

A legal structure is also required to open a community bank account and apply for funding.

BCM can help you to have a conversation about each of the different choices, just get in touch.

We have outlined some of the most common ones in this table.

It may also help to work through the RouteMap provided by Resource Centre to help you to decide.
